For human creators, the ACC mark is not a casual checkbox. It is a deliberate declaration tied to a file hash, a public certificate and a verification boundary.

What a creator needs to know before clicking certify.
Is ACC an AI detector?
No. ACC records a creator declaration, file hash, declaration hash, status and evidence boundary. It does not magically detect AI.
Do I send my audio file to ACC?
No. The file hash is calculated locally in the browser. ACC stores the hash and certificate data, not the audio file.
What does HUMAN mean?
HUMAN means the creator declares that material creative expression was created by human author(s), not generated as material AI output.
What if I used AI tools?
Use SEMI-MIX when human direction and AI systems both materially shape the outcome. Use AI GEN for openly AI-generated music.
Can I certify old music?
Yes. ACC can be used for new works and back catalog declarations as long as the creator or rightsholder can make the declaration responsibly.
Does ACC replace copyright registration?
No. ACC is a provenance and declaration layer. It does not replace legal rights analysis, copyright registration or dispute resolution.
